A série de pinturas explora influências das ilustrações de lendas antigas da América Latina e das gravuras japonesas de fábulas, mitos e lendas. Pretende evocar uma sensação de calma, mas com a sugestão de que algo está acontecendo - cabe a quem vê completar a história. A série também faz alusão à lenda Unmei no akai ito, que afirma que o destino conecta pessoas através de um fio vermelho, independentemente do tempo ou da distância.
[EN] The series of paintings draws on influences from ancient Latin American illustrations of legends and Japanese prints of fables, myths and legends. It is intended to evoke a sense of calm, but with the suggestion that something is happening – it is up to the viewer to complete the story. The series also alludes to the legend Unmei no akai ito, which states that fate connects people through a red thread, regardless of time or distance.
